Ms. Boddicker brings over 29 years of financial leadership experience, most recently having served as Controller of Gartner, a Research and Advisory company, from 2014 to 2022. Prior to this, she was an Auditor at KPMG. As a parent, Lisa is a staunch supporter of Edison Fairs coaching both her children to participate. She believes strongly that the skills students learn as a result of Fair participation serve them well in their future endeavors and serve as a learning ground for a future successful career.

Lisa brings to the Board extensive financial expertise, including in-depth knowledge of accounting principles, corporate governance, leadership and operational best practices.

Mrs. Mahan-Percivall is an educator and academic coach with 21 years of experience in education and 18 years of experience as a Director of Research, helping students navigate research and design processes. Her most recent experience with students is at the 9-12 grade levels. Her published works include phosphorous remediation research using alginate/glomalin biobeads. Mrs. Mahan-Percivall has a long list of scientific awards and accomplishments as a result of her scientific and innovative research projects.

Mrs. Percivall’s extensive teaching experience coupled with her research and design experience complements her expanding interest and fresh perspectives in service to the organization.

Mrs. Kennedy brings years of experience as an educator and resource teacher, specializing in science for the elementary grades. With over 20 years of classroom teaching experience, she has taught grades 2-6. She has worked with Edison Fairs for over 10 years in assisting with the Regional Science Fairs and the Awards programs. She is a firm believer in the process of science and learning through experimentation.

Mr. Wikman brings years of experience as a science educator, specializing environmental science and sustainability. His experience spans K – 12 in Science/STEM/Computer Science/AP Science/PE for Charlotte County Public Schools. His published works include renewable energy storage including a prototype model for pumped hydro storage of off-grid <10KW photovoltaic and wind-Energy. With over 25 years of classroom teaching experience, he has taught at Charlotte High School for 10 years and was the founding teacher for Charlotte Virtual School. He has served as Lead Teacher at Charlotte Virtual School for 15 years with a focus on operational processes and student growth.

Mr. Wikman’s experience in scientific curriculum, the classroom, and involvement with Edison Science Fair for over 20 years enables him to lend valuable guidance to the Board.

With 12 years of experience in education, Mrs. Naufel has devoted her career to igniting a passion for science in young minds. She teaches fourth and fifth grade science, where she thrives on sparking curiosity and cultivating a love of learning in her students. In her roles as Lower School Research Coordinator and STEM Coordinator, Mrs. Naufel expertly guides students through the invention process, helping them transform initial ideas into groundbreaking solutions. Her hands-on, inquiry-based approach fosters exploration, problem-solving, and creative thinking, providing students with opportunities to think critically and innovate. Mrs. Naufel’s dedication to shaping the next generation of inventors and thinkers makes her a powerful force in inspiring future leaders.
