Science Fair 501

How to Enter:

The Thomas Alva Edison Kiwanis Regional Science & Engineering Fair encourages scientifically talented Southwest Florida area middle school (6-8) and high school (9-12) students to enter the annual fair held at Florida Gulf Coast University. The science fair provides an invaluable experience for students to present their work and share ideas with others. Science inquiry and research are also part of Florida’s Next Generation Sunshine State Standards for Science.

Form 1 – Checklist for Adult Sponsor, Form 1A – Student Checklist, RSEF Research PlanForm 1B – Approval Form, and Official RSEF Abstract Form must be completed and submitted for each project that competes at Regionals. Students can access these forms and other forms necessary for restricted areas of research by using the Project Forms section of this website.  Our interactive RSEF Documentation Checklist, an Intel ISEF wizard-like document, may be used as a Project Forms “Cover Page” and can assist students with the identification of necessary project forms. The students will then need to complete the forms, obtain signatures and then submit forms by the appropriate DEADLINE.
