IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARENTS
We plan to be through with judging the Inventors Fair before noon, but scores must be tallied and committees must meet before the winners can be publicly recognized. Please anticipate the placing of winner’s ribbons by 4 PM. A written list of the winners will also be posted just outside the exhibit floor. If your child receives a Winner’s Ribbon, please attend the Inventors Award Program for the announcement of the winner’s placement and award presentations.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION AND PLAN AHEAD.
The Inventors Fair Exhibit Floor will be open to the General Public for viewing approximately 1 to 4 PM. It is important that you supervise your child during this time. Under no circumstances should a student leave the exhibit floor with any stranger, even one with a badge, even to discuss any matters pertaining to his or her invention during this time. Inform Fair Officials or Security walking the floor or behind the curtained off Official’s Only Area located at the back of the Hall immediately.
Note: All elementary students will be dismissed to the Parent Pickup Area after being judged in the AM. This supervised area will be readily apparent. Parents or guardians are required to pick up kindergarten through fifth grade participants. Students are not required to stay with their exhibit after being judged in the AM. The student or a representative must return by 4 PM to remove the exhibit from Alico Arena or risk loss of the exhibit.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD A STUDENT LEAVE THE EXHIBIT AREA WITH ANYONE DURING THE 1 to 4 P.M. “OPEN TO THE PUBLIC” TIME WITHOUT BEING ACCOMPANIED BY HIS OR HER PARENT(S) OR GUARDIAN.
All Invention projects must be removed from Alico Arena between 4 and 5 PM.

(Please be on site 30 minutes before your scheduled judging time. Students may have the opportunity to be admitted for judging earlier than the time listed.)
