The Thomas A. Edison Regional Science and Inventors Fairs (TAERSIF) is pleased to announce the winners of our Innovate Worldwide! T-shirt & Face Mask Art Contest. The contest was open to all students, grades K-12, who attend school in Charlotte and Lee Counties. Public, private and home-schooled students were invited to participate. Students were invited to create artwork for our Edison Fairs formerly produced by professional artist Doug MacGregor.

Seventy (70) entries were accepted and judged by TAERSIF Steering Committee Members. This year’s theme, Innovate Worldwide!, was particularly appropriate for the times. Submitted artwork demonstrated how students envision making the world a better place to live through innovation, discovery, exploration, research, critical thinking, and problem solving.

This year’s contest featured two design categories: T-shirt Design and Face Mask Design. The winner(s) of each category receives a certificate, lithograph, and $500 award. Additionally, the winning artwork will be the featured logos for this year’s Thomas A. Edison Regional Science and Inventors Fairs and Awards Ceremonies.

Congratulations to this year’s winners!
