Calling all girls between ages 15-18! The Society for Science & The Public is proud to share special opportunities from our friends at Marvel Studios with alumni from the Broadcom MASTERS program. Marvel is hosting a contest from now until October 5th for girls who are interested in STEM fields to submit a video about working with mentors to solve scientific questions. Five finalists will be selected to attend the World Premiere of Marvel Studio’s Doctor Strange. Each finalist will receive an all-expense paid trip to California for the premiere, a walk down the red carpet, $1,000 from Synchrony Bank, a tour of the Walt Disney Studios and more. One grand prize winner will be selected from the finalists to be mentored by The Walt Disney Studios Digital Team and learn how to produce their very own science vlog episode, which will later be shown on a Walt Disney Company media platform.
